Performatots Early Years Creative Learning Academy

Reception Ready Week is our renowned summer school that focuses on those either heading for reception in September 2025 or who have attended reception class during 2025. Ages 3.5 - 5.5 are most welcome and you do not have to be a pupil of the Performatots Pre-School to attend.

Our teachers who design this summer school have all worked in reception, so we know what young children need to focus on in the summer, that will help them build really valuable skills for school: Communication and social skills, resilience, self-confidence, pre-phonics/phase 1/2 phonics, writing skills, focus, independence, pattern, shapes, colours, predictions and patterns, making-friendships skills and learning to play creatively and cooperatively.

Our Reception-Ready Summer School is super popular every year, and places are strictly limited, so please, please don't leave it too late to reserve your space for 2025's summer school. There is also an early bird discount to take advantage of until the end of February.

Summer School mimics a typical school day from 9am-3pm, with the options of early drop off and breakfast from 8am and late pick up until 4pm. Children bring a packed lunch each day and morning milk and snacks mid-morning and in the afternoon are provided. All activities, outdoor adventures, performing arts classes, other workshops and sports are included in the price too!

All our teachers are paediatric first aid trained and wonderfully qualified and experienced to provide you with complete peace of mind and give your child with simply the best summer holiday care and education!

Expect dancing, drama, yoga & mindfulness, music-making, singing, outdoor adventures, sports, gymnastics, arts and crafts, science experiments, baking, messy play and the usual summer holiday fun throughout the week:
